Seems Jazz made some fans at Comic Con out of the creators of graphic novel “Motor City” and artist Jettila Lewis showed some love for our Bomber Girl, classic pinup style.

If you like greasers, girls, hot rods, ghouls, demons and other creatures of the supernatural (and who doesn’t?) show them some love and check out www.motorcitycomic.com

To paraphrase the late, great Douglas Adams, ‘I love deadlines. I love the sound they make as they go rushing by’. Yes, it is true, I am late again. Not that you’ll know. The fine folk at the Internet will undoubtedly post this column with a date of, oh, let’s say August 26th, when it is in fact being written on September 5th, nearly a week after LoveBomb’s comic book month has expired. And not that you’ll care either. Come on, let’s be honest… none of you actually read this column. We all know why you come here…same reasons I do…Jazz, Racie, Rocky, Silvia, and all the other lovely Bomber Girls. You don’t pick up Playboy for the articles, do you? Don’t you lie to me! But promise I did to deliver another Comic Book review column and, though often tardy, I do tend to keep my promises. Let us begin.

Can comics be an aphrodisiac? They seem to be working their four-color seduction of the innocent on Katia and Racie, that’s for sure! Our Bomber Girls got all hot and bothered amongst the racks at the old Comicopolis location and the vice squad had to come and close ‘em down! Fortunately, they’ve since moved and are thinking about installing go-go cages in case our geeky Bomber Girls return and have to be contained.
Note: The last picture works as the punchline to the whole set if you know that Rocky is holding Rich Koslowski’s “Three Geeks.”

Taking a bit of a working vacation, comic’s not-so-grim reaper strolls amongst those she had the pleasure of meeting briefly before. Looking as if she stepped of a page drawn by Chris Bachalo, Devi proves that, if she were the last thing you ever saw in you life, it certainly wouldn’t be a bad way to go.
Shot at Evergreen Cemetery, picturesquely nestled in the Santa Cruz hills.

San Diego Comic-Con International, 2008: A journey into Hell.
Now, don’t be thrown by the title of this review. I imagine Hell has quite a lot going for it. Warm climate, the best nightclubs, copious supplies of alcohol, hot women, and an endless array of senses startling sights and sounds to amaze and wonder for all eternity. And yeah, that pretty much sums up the San Diego Comic-Con experience in a nutshell. But there is more, oh so much more. And I am here to tell the tales.
My relationship to, and opinion of, Comic-Con, can be summarized in two concise, if not contradicting, statements.
I Love Comic-Con.
I Hate Comic-Con.

CORRECTIONS TO LAST MONTH’S LETTERS TO
PENTHOUSE FORUM
BY DAVID COPPER
In the letter “And Wifey Makes Three,” the letter writer stated: “My wife was eager to engage in a threesome with me and our incredibly hot 19-year-old babysitter.” The sentence should read: “My wife was disgusted, repulsed, and, in every imaginable way, opposed to the thought of engaging in a threesome with me and our incredibly hot 19-year-old babysitter.”

What do you do after a long, hard day at Comic Con? Why, roll around naked in all the swag you yoinked, duh! Jazz shows us exactly what should be done with all the freebies you abscond with once you get back to your hotel room… just don’t tell the marketing people about this, OK? They’ll only want her to do it on the con floor next year.

Lovebomb Review loves Bomb Queen, Jimmie Robinson’s hyper-violent, super sexy, over-the-top comic book villainess extraordinaire!
It seems she loves Lovebomb Review, too, as you can see by this page from the latest issue!
Jimmie’s got four collections out so far and keeps coming with more ways for the ultimate bad girl to entertainingly kill, maim and destroy (and look smoking hot while doing it)! Buy them all or she’ll blow your face up!

The San Diego Comic Con International 2008! Nerdi Gras! Geek prom! 125,000+ sweaty shut-ins (as Patton Oswald called us), shut-in no more! And this year, adding to the conventional mayhem were the Bomber Girls, breaking hearts and buying comics! This was the first Comic Con for Jazz and Racie, but being geeks at heart they fit right in. As for Silver, she’s a vet… so much so that G4-TV asked her to be on their coverage of the con (she was the one dressed as Sally from “Nightmare Before Christmas” on Friday and Batman’s leafy nemesis, Poison Ivy on Saturday.)
A good ‘ol geektastic time was had by all, as you’ll see…

As you might have guessed, we kinda like comic books here at Lovebomb Review. So, naturally, we thought we should pay tribute to these four-color wonders this month with the Bomber Girls cosplaying and geeking around like the sexy superheroes they are. ’nuff said!
